Now a little about what we make......We at Ruffstuff Specialties try our best to make everything as strong as possible. No, we don't make things too heavy but we don't make it out of 1/8" or 3//16" either.....We use methods of construction to make things tougher. How about bending rather than welding wherever possible. Bending is Much stronger and dosen't create weak points (the area surrounding the welds). Our Differential Covers are all 3/8" thick but their real strength comes from them being 1 piece bent together rather than 10 pieces welded together.....When we make single link tabs we make them so 1 can do the work of 2 if neccessary (all of our link tabs are 3/8" thick). Our shock tabs are all 1/4" but we make an even stronger version in the shock brackets.....Check us out, its worth the effort and register so we can send you some stickers too!
