When the defending 2007 NC4x4 Fantasy Football champion Karolina Krawlerz opened the 2008 season 3-6 it would have been easy to write them off as not having any chance to repeat as league champions. However, after a mid-season series of heady waiver acquisitions and shrewd lineup adjustments by brilliant owner JC, the Krawlerz finished the season with 4 straight wins and a 7-6 record which secured the 4th seed in the four team playoff bracket.

After a first round playoff rout, 104-71, of league leading and #1 seed Raleigh D Dirty Sanchez (10-3), the Krawlerz are odds on favorites to repeat as champions of the premier 4x4 Fantasy league. With a stellar lineup including improving quarterback Philip Rivers (SD), an awesome running back duo of Thomas Jones (NYJ) and DeAngelo Williams (Car), and the defense of the defending Super Bowl Champion NY Giants, the Krawlerz appear poised to claw their way back to preeminence in this their second year of operation.

The Krawlerz will face the #2 seed Killers Killers next week, who managed a meager 63 points in a lethargic first round victory over the Colorado Mukluks. The match up will feature the flagging offense production of the Mukluks quarterback Drew Brees (NO) and running back Adrian Peterson (Min) against the explosive point production of the wide receiver/running back corps of the Krawlerz.

even though i won my wk 14 matchup, i messed up big time. i sat Pierre Thomas (NO) who scored 22 fantasy pts and i sat Antonio Bryant (TB) who had a career night and scored 32 fantasy pts. i've been plagued with injuries this season. i swear i'll get someone good and then he'll go on IR after 2-3 weeks.
