Well i also have a ghost and we have coexisted peacefully for many years. If you actually do have one you can talk to them sometimes to make them chill.

Daddy would live at the office he worked at since he was single.The company he worked for would buy a house and property,set up shop and use the house for offices so he would wind up with a room.He stayed there rent free but would look after the place during the week and help out after hours.Win win for all concerned.
The place here in Goldsboro he said was haunted.Called him Fred. Fred would act up periodically and Daddy would have a heart to heart with him.Seemed to work.Others would see a gentleman walk across the back of the property but it was thought to be fred since it had high fences toped with concertina wire and no where to go. A elderly man had passed away years before the company bought it somewhere towards the back.
