kind of late notice... URE 11/05

CNC is having their fall bash there this weekend. It will be a packed weekend for sure.

I will be there Saturday AM, in the green rubicon tagged "upandovr". :driver:
 
myself and 2 buddies will be there at 9 or 9.15, so get there a little earlier and ride with us....
 
me and some others will be there at about 5pm or so till when ever, nite rides or nice,because there is not as many 4wheelers to deal with
 
holy crap what a day. daniels ledge claimed a few jeeps driveshafts, u-joints, etc and the top of daniel bent the sh1t out of my tcase skid and tcase. Anyway I got her all off and back home in one shape thanks to Chase, guy in exo'd yota, and the help of everyone else. I really appreciate it! See ya'll up there next time.












p.s. its becoming more and more obvious I should have been building a yota this whole time. Jeeps (ones without frames at least) suck!
 
busting driveshafts on the daniel ledge :confused: last week we all walked it last week? only who needed help was a bone stock tj...
 
i walked up it and a guy in a blue xj and so did the guy with rear coils in his white XJ without a problem. The problems came when trying to get a stock full size bronco, XJ with 31's/open diffs, and a YJ with a broken d-shaft up it.
 
That explains it. I can imagine it is tough in a stock rig or with out some kind of locker atleast. I was going to go today but when the alarm clock went off wheelin didnt seem quite as important as more sleep. Yeah, im lazy :rolleyes:
 
i had to go up the 4 wheeler trail to the side of the ledge to pull my buddy up the shelf, and i ended up breaking the drivers side axlesshaft, finally got home at 2:00. it to bad that nobody out there rides at night i guess everybody is just to scared cause we only saw one vehicle and it was commind down
 
i got stuck behind the group with the white xj and the stock FSB, parked for a while waiting, decided it wasnt worth it to be behind this group the rest of the trail, so i turned around and left, the only upside was watching the drunk redneck backflip as the blue xj was trying to get up the ledge, at least the idiot didnt get hurt, nothing would ruin a day like having to deal with injuries after only 5 minutes on the trail
 
yeah...that day def sucked....we were on that trail for pretty much the whole day. Sorry for who had to turn back around cause of us :( But its just part of wheeling. We at least ran the whole night on the trails so it was worth the trip !! Even though now I have to upgrade to the over-the-knuckle cause I bent the tie rod two times !!
 
we ran all of dutch jon and RML last night in the dark with my stock sammi and chases yota. also ran daniel and RML agian today. the ledge isnt as tough as everyone is saying, i stacked a few rocks and almost made it :)
