Knuckle plating?

Has anyone here ever done it or be interested in trying it? I'd like to get out of buying some Dedenbears if possible

I'll be doing it to my chevy knuckles when the time comes...
No ones ever posted up saying that their braced knuckles have broken...but I imagine that would kind of be posting up "Look i can't weld!"...

I'll be doing mine towards the end of next month probably...if you haven't got them done by then I'd be more than happy to plate yours afterwards (I'll screw my own up first though)

Eh I don't know...100-150 bucks?...If the knuckles were off and clean...with a preheat and slow cool down (bucket o sand) as well...
