Kumho mt KL71?

Anyon have these? I'm looking at a set to run on my XJ. Wanted to find out if anyone on here has them. I read all the reviews on Tire Rack, mostly good suprisingly. Let me know any info.
 
The key word here is "Kumho". You said yourself, "surprisingly".
IMO, not worth the risk.
 
Your right, I spoke to a guy who has them on a lifted f-250 and he is happy with them. Said they beat the hell out of the Grapplers they replaced. Thats what got me to thinking.:beer:

dude kumho makes some kickass tires,some of their roadrace tires are the best on the market,we put a set of teh kumho solstice or some shit like that on my moms mercedes and they ride a hell of alot better than the contenintals that were on it from germany
 
The thing that got me was that the majority of the "bad" experiences on Tire Rack were from people that had them under 3/4 to 1 ton trucks. Its a 6 ply tire, which unless I'm wrong is a little under rated for that heavy a vehicle if your towing.
 
What are they going on? For a DP, On-off road rig, I've heard nothing but good about them. They're light, tough, and get incredible traction all around, including mud. For a tow rig, get a towing tire. And Kumho has been getting great reviews for about a decade now. IMO, they're one of the premier tire companies. I've run them on passenger cars and loved them, and I wouldn't hesitate to get these.
