this coming sunday oct/18/09 trail ride any one want to join ?? its $12 bucks per rig there are tons of trails to ride if anyone is interested in coming hit me up thanks see ya there. i have put up some pics in the truck gallery of some of the trails... date change sunday at noon is when im heading up there and ill be there till dark . do have a web site its www.lakehouseradventures.com

I talked with Wayne (owner) the other day at church, he said he had some places he was trying to make plans for there and if anyone had some ideas or whatnot to give him a call. He was looking at one hill to pile rocks on so that maybe that is something we can help with. He told me that it gets more crowded when Brown Mt. and Uwharrie close for the winter, and that he would like to have more trails set up for vehicles other than fourwheelers. If anybody is interested in getting together sometime and going by to talk with him let me know I am off everyother saturday and would be more than happy to go by and get something going.

just wanted to check and see who all is going to be able to make it sunday? and just a reminder its $12.00 bucks per rig and will meet in the parkin area at 1 thanks see ya there

needless to say i was a little disapointed at the turnout sunday.
when no one had showed up by 1:30 robbie in the suduki (puppydawg),brian green on
a 4 wheeler, a full size jeep cherokee and my self rolled on down the tons
of trails.
now dont get me wrong here- i've wheeled that area for over 30 years.
watched it shrink in size over the years till its down to what is is today.
i've never really thought it was a good place for fullsize rigs, or
rigs that are to pretty to take in the tight trails. but if you don't give a hoot
like me there are lots of trails to run. i run probly 95% of the 4 wheeler trails
and have a good time doing it. sure the exo rubs a little here & there and with a
little chainsaw work they would be passable in a fullsize (even brought the saw
with me sunday).
the main trails are fine for a fullsize but probly not worth the $12 dollar fee,
(unless ya just want to get muddy to impress the other mallcrawlers).
there are several obstickles in the park that are intresting and more can
be had with lots of work.
anytime someone would like to go to housers just pm me & i'll be more
than happy to guide ya around the park. i'm only 10 mins away. and have
a good relationship with the houser family as my family owns property there
also.
this coming weekend i'll be in harlin ky, but the next weekend i'm free.
(unless something breaks)

Thanks for the tour dawgtoy. I was the guy in the Chief. There are definately some cool trails there for the smaller vehicles and as you stated with a little work has some good potential for all sizes. I was definately in the wrong ride and my intention was to NOT get muddy  Nice meeting the other guys as well. I will be heading back to do some more riding in the near future.
