Laptop repair in Concord/Harrisburg?

Gateway MA7. Power connector must be broke inside & not making contact. Even tried the inlaws' power cord. Guess I will use their laptop to charge my battery so I can back-up everything before taking to a shop.
 
Slaytons Electronics in Charlotte can probably fix that for you. They're pricey though, but if I remember correctly they're the only ones that will repair your existing hardware. (ie solder it back together, etc.) Other places will just replace the motherboard, which is always an option. Take it apart yourself and have a look at it. Might just be something easy to fix. Hell, you can post up pics here and many of us on here could tell you how to fix it.
 
I thought about slaytons but Ended up dropping it off at Microlab in Harrisburg. Thanks for the responses.
