So, after 8 hours on the road Saturday in "Lumpy" ('04 F-350 C&C), and in fawking stoopid bumper to bumper in Burlington, realized that the "Zeus" LEDs had both lost low beam (highs worked fine). Pulled.over in the "Welcome Center" and swapped the OE Sylvania incandescents back in. :poop:

Despite being "Silver Stars", compared to LEDs, they're both dim AND yellow... does NOT jive with my aging eyes!

The Zeus box is labeled "Lifetime Warranty", but either the original manufacturer has either vanished or my google-foo sucks?

Regardless, need a new set of lamps. Pretty sure they're 9004s, but maybe 9007s?

Anyways, who's do you like or is it mearly pick the Chineseum dujour and hope they last more than 5 years?

Regardless of the industry claims, LEDs are not lifetime bulbs. In landscape nightlighting (12 volt) we change them at 4 years max. Before LEDs arrived when we were still incandescent, we used many auto bulbs in our fixtures. Just change the "bulb"

I’ve used superbrightleds.com in the past and don’t have any complaints. They even have ones that work with CANBUS.
I’ve used Amazon specials on a few occasions and they do ok, just check the reviews first. VisionX makes great stuff, although I haven’t looked at their individual ‘bulb’ pricing in a while.
Anything with a 7” round or 5x7 rectangle gets trucklites(now RIGID) or JW Speaker.

I've had good service from the sealight leds
Appears "sealight" is just an(other) online broker for dozens of Chineseum brands?

These less than 5 years old according to the order date, but if my SOP of ordering months/years before install came into play... could only have been a couple years?

I've used superbright for automotive and outdoor lighting previously (the outdoor LEDs are stoopid bright)... just wasn't sure about their LED headlamps.
Not sure the others offer any retrofit lamps...

I’m happy with the reverse lamps and bed lamp from diesel leds. Had for a couple years no issues. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy headlights.
That was one of the vendors I'd seen... but are currently sold out

Was simply wondering if <$50 Chineseums, assuming replacement every 5-ish years, was a better option than >$100 (likely from the same offshore manufacturers) and still having to replace every 5 years...

Anymore I figure they’re all made in the same plant. A US vendor with good service, like sending replacements for free, etc. tips the scale. Hard to know in advance tho.
