I was hoping so too. At least I got to re-live my D35 axleshaft boring tool experience.

The next day I can get in the shop to work I will be making a jig to do the same thing Matt did. I'm going about it a different way tho because I don't have a way to turn down an axle shaft. I'll post up pics when I get it built. I'm making a jig to use a holesaw on the wheels.

#1 Custom tool to oversize the holes in my GM wheels to fit on toy axles. 2 hole saws with a 1/4" bolt in place of the drill bit. (grind flats on ends for set screw) Used cheep elec. tape to center it up just right. After drilled, i hit it with some emery cloth paper taped to the hole saw...

#1 Toy diff chunk holder, grabbed the holes that are the same on 4cyl/v6/e-locker...

I have a few regulars that come in my shop who watch and CRITIQUE me because they know EVERYTHING. And I can't tell you how much I like using a hammer on something on a customers vehicle and these folks telling me I need a bigger hammer. It really gets under my skin. You don't use a bigger hammer on a customers truck. If you need a bigger hammer then your doing something wrong.
So....... This thread came along and inspired me to make this for when they say I need a BIGGER FREAKIN HAMMER. I plan to use this on their toes. :fuck-you:

Just the typical grind-a-socket and bend-a-wrench. I did fab up a Ferrari F355 chassis mover for when the engine and rear sub frame are removed for service. I dont have any pics of it though.

Mars, can I use your BFH as my avatar??

man....that is one bad ass hammer though

Are women, girlfriends, considered rigs too? Man I could contribute. I've got several attachments for a vacume pump, and some doozies i made on a lathe.

12 point 5/8ths deepwell wrench!

This is used for sparkplugs on small block chevys with headers! 12 point is key!

Take a choke pull with a cable, cut the cable about any length and bend the cable to make a pick, hooking tool of any lenghth.

Drill a 1/4 inch hole in a golf ball, drive a file into the hole! Can't pull it out! I use the balls from a driving range that are different colors and color key the files as to what they are, Rattail, Flat, Bastard, Triangle and so on. Adjust the hole to fit the file.

That's a good one.

Nothing here other than the standard heated/bent harbor freight wrenches.

I've got a lot more, ask PJ or Snappy. Too many to drag out.

Ok let's bring this thread back to life.

Some of you guys who know me know that I like to build my own tools. I actually plan in the near future to maybe build some of this stuff to sell.

I have a standard 40 ton shop press that I made a press brake for, and I got tired of pulling the heavy brake out of it every time I needed to dimple a few holes. Soooo.... I made this today. It'll be a dedicated press for dimple dies and punching holes.
