DEFINITELY the wrong impression. I have no intention of going anywhere illegally, I just want to give my truck a tryout someplace.


Here is the deal........

1st) Wrong section to be posting questions about wheeling spots. This is a tech section. Okay, let's try in here, then.

2nd) We as in NC4x4 will not tollerate illegal wheelin or talk of it on this board.
See above.

3rd) Making threats to kick someones ass on this board will not be allowed.

4th) There are no areas in wake co. to wheel unless you have the owners permission. So, who do you see to GET permission? Are there any houses, offices or whatever to go ask at? Trust me, I'll ask.

5th) This thread will be locked and later removed.
If at first you don't succeed...

Also, Trebbisky if I were you id watch your tone...You never know who you are talking to! I know its not an overly important place (this forum) but if you're trying to make friends in the NC offroading community you'd be surprised how close some of these people are....Just looking out for ya man.

That's right, BUT... neither do you. I'm either a mod or admin on several other boards. All I want to do is find somewhere to ride, and some people to ride with. And ANY forum is an important place to the people who post in it.
 
TREBISSKY, I'll explain the attitude here on the board. There have been a few groups, clubs, etc, trying to get permission to ride private land. Some folks have been working hard to get some private land opened up, even for only private rides. The land owners have done some web surfing and looked at pictures, and posts, and have backed out. I personally know of two seperate instances of this happening. And the poeple posting were local. Needless to say we don't want our board even remotly related to illegal wheeling. And we won't tolerate it.

That being said, let's drop it, and hope you enjoy yourself here.
 
Works for me. So, nothing much except Uwharrie and some other National Forests, then? Isn't there one down by New Bern, too?

There's some dirt roads and mud, somewhere called Croation? Someone correct me, I've never been there myself.

Do you have something against uwharrie? I missed all the excitement earlier, so I am not sure of all the details here. Uwharrie should be closer to ya than New Bern.
