Got the wife a new 2011 JK 2 door a few months back. She's asked me about possibility of doing some sort of a mild lift just to get a little altitude on the thing and help with the "stock" look. Keep in mind it's going to be a looooong time before this thing ever sees any real off road time. My jeep is the toy. She's more of the mall crawler type. :driver: So I wanted to get some real world input on types and brands of lifts that would fit the bill for what she it looking for. We for sure want to keep the ride and handling as nice as it is stock. I'm old school CJ so don't have much knowledge of the newfangled jeep stuff. Any input will really be appreciated.
Thanks

Rockkrawler seems to be the most popular choice for JKs.

I have a Teraflex lift on mine and have been pleased with it.

AEV makes a lift that has some disadvantages when crawling, but may actually be what you're looking for.

Tereflex 2.5" budget boost. Under $400 and installs in 4 hrs. I ran one on an 07 rubicon with shock extensions for quite some time. It will fit 35 " tires very well. Retains stock ride. If you want to go up a level, the rockkrawler lifts are awesome and the 2.5" spring lifts are very capable offroad. The ride will also be much improved.

Hey Webb,

Give me a shout and I can get ya hooked up with exactly what you need.

Rock Krawlers 2.5 max travel is a very popular and well put together lift. We're going a 20% off sale over on Jeep forum, if you're looking to go that route let me know.
