lincoln promig 140 issue.. help asap

does anybody on here work on these? i have got a wire feed issue. i pull the trigger and i can hear a relay click but the drive motor is not turning. i checked the hot wire going to motor with a test light and i get no power. what's next? the wires coming to motor come off the circuit board. is it bad?? i am in the middle of a project and almost all the service places i talked to wanna send it off or wait for there "guy" to come around but they cant tell me for sure when that will be.

I know you said you hear the relay but have you checked the relay?

no i havnt. while i was lookin around on interweb i saw how to test the drive motor for sure. i pulled off the leads and hooked it to straight 12v battery and it kinda crunched and then the drive motor started working. i hooked it back up and it worked. welded with it some today. but i am pretty sure it needs a motor.

That sucks dude, but at least you know what it is now.
