locker in front dana 30 on 1990 xj

I had one in a 99 XJ and you could not tell it was in there.

Not to hijak but can you really tell much of a difference between the regular lockright locker and the powertrax no-slip to justify the close to $200 price difference? Which is better? I hear that the no-slip is more "street friendly". Although it will be on my DD I can deal with the clicking noise if thats all thats different between the two.

In the rear axle I'd say yes, but in the front, probably not worth it IMO.

propogating the hijack...
After hearing the debates and reading the woes of a lockright in the rear, I splurged and put a NoSlip in the rear of my CJ. I've never drove with a LR in the rear, but the NoSlip has to be leaps and bounds above a LR because the NoSlip is pretty transparent. Its locked, there's no doubt about it, but there has never been any quirky jerky action I read people with LRs complaining about. I put a LR in the front though, because I almost never drive on any pavement in 4x4, ie snow and icy roads.
