With taxes coming soon I'm looking to upgrade my 4" short arm kit. Any shop willing/able to build a set of arms and weld on frame mounts for me at a comparable/cheaper price as what is out there that I can order? RC has a cheap upgrade kit and been looking at the RE kits, wanting to stay local with my monies and like to see if someone can build something and be affordable. Not ready to stretch the rear just yet, so stock wheel base. PM with options or drop me some contact numbers and I'll make some calls. Thanks!

Chris at Marsfab should be able to take care of you. He just did this on a TJ at his shop.

Got some pms and going to call around, as soon as I find time before 5 to call...

X3 on chris at Mars Fab. Not 100% the same but his is working on a xj long arm right now that is pretty sweet.

Mars Fab had a great plan for me and a great price, but a little more than I'm ready to do with these small axles.
Metalwerx is going to get me setup nicely at a great price. Thanks...

Sounds like your minds made up but I will also say go with Marsfab. He did the links on my tj and a friends tj. We are both extremely happy with the outcome. He has built quite a few tj's with long arms and they all perform well and have been bullet proof.

Yeah he was talking about doing tri 4 link rear and 3 link front but I'll wait til I get larger axles and am ready to stretch it. He preferred not to build radius style arms for the front. His price seemed Very fair for everything. Metalwerx picked up on what I'm looking for and will build me what I'm wanting even if it's not the best design, it works in my budget and will satisfy my wants on the trail.

Glad to here the wrangler is growing up, I still say push the front end forward 2-3" at the very least.

Also makes me smile because Scott Thomas is having his long arms built by another Scott Thomas. Dun dun Dun!

I don't feel like messing with the track bar and stuff, one day it will be stretched.

Haha yeah I didn't tell him my name...

Lol you should have, might get the family discount.

Can't go wrong with Scott (or certainly with Chris either for that matter)...Im sure youll be happy.

Sorry we couldn't come to an agreement on price man. I've done a ton of them and I've just learned what what works and what doesn't. I've got a good history of very few callbacks and I like to think its because I don't sell things that the customer won't be happy with in the long run.

I completely understand. And the price isn't the problem, I just don't want to spend that time and money on a Dana 30. If I was ready to do what I want it would be down there with a set of 60s no questions. When I'm ready to go big and setup nicely, I'll definitely bring it to you.

Got my arms installed this weekend. Super happy with what metalwerx built to me. Ride quality is Better than I expected. Thanks again!
