What's the pros and cons from a long arm over short right now I have a basic rc 4.5 lift, I'd like to add 2 inches to it and I know it's gonna be pushing the short arms so that's why I'm considering long arms but even if I leave it the same hight would the long arms benefit me any on a dd/wheeler

Only con is price difference and possibly needing a little more room to package it if you don't have enough.

Pros are better ride, more linear direction of suspension travel, less pinion rotation, less caster change, better antisquat properties, and the cool guys will like you better.

It will prob only get wheeled a hand few times a year for right now it's my dd I wanna go bigger lift so I don't have to chop it up and the better ride quality would be a plus, who makes the best upgrade kit or who can build one I've been looking at rustys and rc there both around $650 prob the two cheaper ones

Rough country long arms are great the springs f****** blow

on con about rough country is you have to drop the whole long arms to drop the crossmember to anything for maintenance

that's the only reason I wish I went with rubicon Express

X's 2. He built mine. Works perfect. Links and mounts are heavy enough to hold tons when I get ton that point.
