Looking for a name

I have a mangled washer that has came off my 97 tj and I need to know the technical name. It came off my dana 30 axle it looks like it was to help keep the axle in place it has some curveture to it dont know if that was from the damage or not and it also has teeth on the inside. I will get a pic up later tonight.

Was it on the bolt holding one of the control arms on at the axle?

it goes on the axle behind the bearings at the very end of the axel.

axle retainer washer/ spacer, go to dealer have them pull up the schematic of the axle and hub and then point to it.

misalignment shim/spacer/washer/bolt is what I would go with (pick any of the last 4)
