Hey guys,

I'm a sometimes poster (more often lurker) on this board. Right now, I'm putting together an outdoors fashion photo shoot (you don't know how in over my head I am) for this week. I was wondering if there is anyone on this board who's based in WNC that would like to show off their resto as an "extra" in our shoot. I'm looking for something with that old-school flare like a Jeepster Comando, Wagoneer, Willys wagon, IHC Scout, Early Bronco, FJ40, FJ55, Series 1-3 Rover, etc. Since this is fashion, we don't want to go with anything too hardcore (the tires will be taller than the models), so if you've got something that's somewhat close to original proportions, send me a pic. I will pass it on to the photographer to let him make his pick. The shoot is on Tuesday in the area of Saluda. Unfortunately, there's no money in my budget even for gas, so I'm looking for someone located REALLY close by. Post a pic, or PM me, and I'll send you my email address.

I'll throw this in there for the "just saying" aspect... :flipoff2:

hey man i live in hendersonville and i know where one really nice willys truck is and i have seen a nice eb around that is tan i could tell you where the truck is i think the guy is pretty nice

While not "restored", I've got a bud in Swannanoa with an ORIGINAL convertible Jeepster... metallic olive w/ white vert top...

OTOH, he's also got another he's restoring (no idea of progress) that's going to be old school Kaiser blue and NICE!

LMK if that tweaks interest & I'll put you in touch...

why don't you just take your models to valdese on a friday nite? then you can have your pick of 4x4 or street rod. There's a guy there who's got a 4x4 general lee. I forget his name, but he's friends with my bro in law.
