Looking for cheap electronics.

Just finished my Creeper kit a few days ago (can't go wrong for the price). Did all of the fixes, CVD retainers, running droop (anything else fails on my backyard trails), no diff skids, lengthed upper links, "welded" diffs with plastic-friendly contact adhesive, deleted shift forks for diff lock option, cut and siped the factory ridgelines in a "southern" manner.

I honestly like this kit better than my First Gen AX10 I had. Same goes for my First Gen SCX10 I had a couple years ago. The Venom axleshafts are BEEF compared Axial.

Only problem I had during assembly was the fact that one of the pinion gears was out of spec and a bearing got stuck around the shaft. Tried tapping bearing off, bearing dies... tapped harder and pinion gear broke. I ordered and already received a replacement R&P and bearing that I paid for out of my pocket... They are backordered on the R&P's so they offered me a credit. Waiting on the green-light to use it.

Anyways, I need some cheap electronics. (RTR take offs are fine)
-Servo
-Brushed ESC with or without drag brake
-Nimh/Nicd batteries will do for now
-Brushed Motor (may be getting a Venom 35t in place of the backordered R&P)
-Traxxas TQ AM Antenna

I have an crapola Tx/Rx and a couple decent Nimh/Nicd chargers.

Dying to get this thing going now and I am on a tight budget. I'm going to be starting a 3/16" rod chassis soon and would like to drive it stock for at least a few runs.

Here's some poser pics for now... Keep in mind that I have since dremeled the piss out of the tires. Will add an updated photo of the tires in a while.

I just built a Honcho kit. I looked at a lot of the high end electronics but never bought anything. Before i finished the Honcho i bought a RTR Wraith. The factory electronics work just fine for me. All i did was a regear for better crawling. I enjoy building as much as playing. I just went with Axial Wraith electronics for the Honcho. The motor runs about $20 the speed control about $50 the steering servo about $20. So far my only issue has been the steering servo. I just bought a hytec for the Wraith.

I appreciate the info. I am also on NCRCC and RCC. Was just putting a feeler out there to see if anyone here had any stuff laying around that they would consider letting go for cheap...

Thanks!!
