I've got the below situation, adding a mezzanine or loft to my shop. As you can see in photo tin goes floor to ceiling and plywood is just gonna run into it like the demo below. Only two ideas I've thought of is cut chunk out of the tin and add a piece of j-trim and the flooring will just run under it or notching the plywood to the contour of the tin. Either option would require 80ft linear foot worth of modification. Yall have any better ideas?

i would setup a sliding jig and use a router to contour the wood.

trace out the pattern on a 3 or 4 feet long on a piece of wood and cut it out carefully to fit with a band saw or jigsaw then clamp it to a target then use a router with a guide bearing and cut the contour of the pattern then move the template and repeat.

The company that made and sold the building will have foam inserts to fit the ribs of the panels.
You put in an "L" flashing from floor to wall then stuff (might need construction adhesive) the foam insert between the vertical part of the flashing and the panels.

I believe you are talking about foam closure strips. I actually had someone mention those just forgot to put that in original post

Really matters what the end goal is here, but for a shop I'm failing to understand why this even needs to be so tightly flush and this isn't good enough.
You're gonna have condensation buildup on that metal anyway.

Just trying to make something look like someone who half way cared was doing it.

Why do you say it'll have condensation?

Unless you have the heat on full time, condensation is a possibility.
The extreme heating and cooling cycles will cause it.

Ive had very little problems with condensation on the floor and none on the walls or anything at all. I try to keep the doors closed when it's extremely humid outside and sometimes leave my 14' BAF running slow to move a little air.
