looking for pipe/tubing in hickory area cheep

I am looking for a good place to buy steel from in the Hickory area

There isnt any, Stock Car Steel in Mooresville is the closest. But if you want to do a group buy I need 80-100ft

EDIT I just saw the pipe part. On 127 past Frye Hospital and the fire station there is a plumbing supply place on the right. I bought a piece of HREW for a tree stand about 2-3 years ago. NO clue if the still carry but.....

Try some of the Boiler repair companies up there. I think there's one called Link in Hickory. They should have drops of 2", 2 1/2" tubing. I will not not be DOM, it will be ERW tubing, most likely .120 wall. It welds and forms real good. If your looking for plate material they will have plenty of drops in all different thickness's. I've got all kinds down in Gastonia at my boiler shop

i have looked there before they were high!!!

I can get some 1.75 x120, has a little surface rust but hard to beat at 2 bux a foot. I think theres about 500 ft of it.
