looking for trails

Hi John...

Welcome!

Please read the stickies it will help you get comfortable around here and will prevent burns from flames.

Apparently I haven't read the stickys and other pertinant information , or I would have known that there is NO discussion of illegal wheeling locations on this web forum.

I think I'll go read the stickys before I post again.

I also acknowledge that if I try to discuss this again, I will be removed from this web forum.

you could move it or blaze a new trail, but i can't advise that since that is on the edge of "illegal wheeling".
the "edge"? everything you just posted about is downright trespassing. get off of our board, retard.

hey i'm from chapel hill, and Yes I am an IDIOT..

so all my posts are being modified..

since I do not know how to read very well... but now I will go back and read the Stickies or I will get BAN.
:shaking::poop:I can't even believe someone has this level of stupid to post this.

Please just ban this asshat...lets not even try....

This asshole is a perfect example of why we don't have more lagal wheeling places

X2 please ban this fool before he infects other new folks that come here to learn

I thought about it, but how about some tough love, maybe try to educate the un informed.

We were all there once, you know it's true.

Im flicted. 4 years ago I was doing the same thing. I feel like it all changed when I got done with my freshman year of college (and got involved with this ridiculous board).

OK, you big softy. I guess you are right. At least you deleted the post, a good start. I am sure you have also informed him about all this. So, we can see if it falls on deaf ears or it's absorbed.

Yeah.... but now those of us that are slackasses and don't waddle into work until 9:30 and start checking the boards (instead of working of course) don't get to know what the obviously highly entertaining/enlightening/idiodic post was all about.

*** I still don't get it. One day I'll read the stickies and understand the difference between illegal and legal offroad driving is. As one good southerner once said...it didn't take. Try again. ***

why aren't they? I don't get it. I've never had any problems and neither has anybody else. could I get some clarification on this?

These easements are not owned by utility companies but by private citizens or companies. Driving on one is like driving across someone's yard or farm. Unless you have consent by the owner, you are trespassing.

Just because you haven't had any trouble doesn't make it right. If you had property how would like someone out there when you weren't around possible tearing up the woods or digging ruts in the field? Or worse getting hurt & risking law suit. Just because you don't see a no trespassing sign doesn't make it legal ignorance is NO excuse to the law or respect to someone else's property no matter who owns it. Try to understand that when you engage in these illegal activities it gives the tree huggers & others who don't like this sport more ammunition to close more lands.

i see. some of it was city property that is now going to be developed. I guess i am going to find out who technically owns the land and contact them about use.

Even if it is city preperty - it isn't yours. And unless the city has officially approved yo uto be there - you're still tresspassing.

Best bet is, like you mentioned, to find out who owns it and ocntact them personally. Get something in writing that says it's ok to be there.
Once you have that in hand, we have nothing to complain about.
