Lowering Shackles on XJ

Will lowering Shackles for an 97-03 F150 work on the back of the rear springs on an 89 XJ? I've been told Chevy lowering shackles will, but I don't know abut the Fords.

What's his shackle angle like and do they hit the unibody when his springs compress?

I don't remember. His Jeep is in storage. I have RC lift shackles which are basically the same thing but I have lift springs so my angles aren't ideal
