just wanted to post up a few pics of my new ride. after owning and wheeling many jeeps over the past 10 years, i'm now jeepless! i thought i would try something a bit different so i went with a 2000 Land Rover Discovery II SE7.

picked it up just over a month ago bone stock from local guy in charlotte.

So far i've just added a 3" Old Man Emu Lift, Optima Red Top, CDL Lock, some 285/75/16 BFG ATs and trimmed the front bumper for better clearance of the tires and approach.

looks good lincoln.....now its time to do daniel again...lol.
 
looks good. these are great looking 4x4s. Wheeling season is coming up. better start shopping for an offroad vehicle! (lol, i can make fun of you cause ive been in your shoes...and now am desperatly trying to sell my disco!)

oddly enough, pirate4x4 has a nice landrover section.

what did you use to cut the bumper by the way?

yeah yeah, i know, i'm prepped for the comments. it's already started when i was at Uwharrie last weekend. i got the "is that a rental?" or "did you steal mom's SUV?"

i didn't expect to get much response on this board, since it's not a tube buggy on 42s...:shaking:

thanks for the heads up on CROC and Discoweb, i've been on there for a few months now. they have already saved me some $$.

i cut the bumper with a cut off wheel and a box cutter. its just plastic.
