Anyone know where I can get dimensional lumber cheaper than lowes or home depot. Or if the same price a better selection.

Im putting together a 10x10 shed in my yard and I don't want to spend a fortune.

Im South of Charlotte.

id rather spend the money in gas then go to lowes. Anything I get there always seems to be undried or warped so badly i have to clamp it and try to salvage it.

Id rather go to a lumberyard where I can expect mostly straight pieces.

Give the guys @ Advantage Trim and Lumber a call. They are in Grover. They are more of a hardwood/flooring outfit but may also have something to offer.

hey man,
Try Queen city lumber...they are much closer...not sure on their pricing, but they have a lot of cool stuff at good prices.
they are down off Old Monroe road.
you'll have to chase down their actual address and number, but they've been there for year and years..

good luck

Check your local Craigslist. Got my lumber for about 2/3'rd's lowes price at 40 cent per BF. Lowes is up to about 60 cent and that's dimensional, not true. But there's "rough cut" lumber widely available. Also search for "portable saw mill". Those dude's have connections to folks with lumber as well.
