Machining stuff - various carbide inserts and tools

I know we have some machinists-types on the board, so I’ll offer this stuff up here for free in case it might be of use to any of you.

These are various test tools and inserts that I’ve collected over the past couple of years. I’ll make a few notes about what each is, but trust that you’ll do your own research and figure out how to use them. I won’t take any responsibility for scraping of any parts or material 🤣

Let’s start with ISO inserts. These are all new, partial packs of 1 to 4 pieces. Most are 4425/4415 grade, which is for turning steel

TR inserts: I’ll be impressed if any of you are using TR inserts, but you never know… These have a rail system that prevents any movement in the pocket and are great for applications with very high surface finish or dimensional requirements
