Here are my bumpers me and my dad built the last couple of weekends. Didn't take too many during the process but got them done and tied into the unibody. What do you guys think?

Mocking up to see where to cut and bend (Ugly)

I think the first one looks the best....Great job looks great...

clean job! simple and functional. looks nice, i might would trim the rear off a couple inches on each side, just a little beyond the tail light to protect it. you will find that it will hook trees like that. just my .02. other than that i like them.

Maybe he is thinking down the road and leaving enough metal for an exo cage? I love those bumpers though. How are they tied into the frame and how is the reciever tied in?

Thanks for the Comments!!!
Is that 2x5 or 2x6 square tube?
2x6x1/4

I did leave a little long for a future cage. It only sticks out like 2" on either side, looks like more in the pics. The rear tire sticks out a lot more, the tree would have to get between the tire and bumper. I guess that could happen, and if it pisses me off enough I will cut them down.
The front is tied to the unibody by plates I made to encorporate the steering box on the drivers side and an identical one on the passenger side.
The rear is tied in where a hitch would mount under the unibody.
Oh and Brandy is my Fiance, my dad wrote that on it to be funny, then we started drawing on it.

Thanks Again.

Did you get them powdercoated or is it just paint or rhinolined?

How much did the powdercoat/paint/rhino run you?

Painted with DupliColor truck bed liner. Two cans @ $8.50 a can, two coats on each bumper. Turned out nice.

any pics of the front "frame" mounts?

before i get flamed, i know that xj's have no true frame, hence the quotations.
