making a whistle tip?

well after watching the whistle tip video on youtube again i decided i wanted to make one so my car could have the "woo woo"

well we made 5 different versions that looked like what they showed in the video none of which even came close to working. Has anyone ever made or heard a whistle tip?does it really work, and how do you make it? there's something not being shown in the video but we can't get it

yeh we made one that looked like that, tried straight, angled back and forward, big hole little, lots of room on side no room on sides and even a slit that was bent in above like a real whistle, still nothing that we could hear over the stock tj exhaust

looks to me that its angled like the butterfly valve on a carb, almost closed, but not quite. I dunno, maybe you better head out to oakland and pay the $100
