Mazda B4000/Ford Ranger what's the front axle??

Hey I have a friend with a 1995 Mazda B4000 Pickup that wants to upgrade the front-end.

He want to do a locker/gears BUT keep the factory TTB front.

Is it a Dana 35 or a Dana 27 center section??

it should be a dana 35 being that its a B4000. most (if not all) mazdas in that era should have the same front end as the ford ranger from that era.

4 cyl or 6 cyl? Most rangers past 89 had a 35 if it was a 6 cyl. I would guess it's the same with the mazda. A few had a hybrid 28/35. It looks like a 35 but has 28 parts in the diff.

That year model B4000 would be a reverse rotation Dana 35 center section.
