Installing a gauge on the JeePullr (F250). Has a hose that runs from the block to the back of the gauge. Instructions don't say anything about purging the air from this line. Should I?

It would seem that I would want the oil to come to the gauge and not count on the compression of the air in the line to give me a reading on my oil.

Thanks guys, I purged it using the starter (took about 1 minute of cranking) then hooked it up. It's fun to watch it sit almost still when the stock gauge moves up and down, even at a constant RPM...also answers the "do I have low oil pressure" question...NO, I have a crappy gauge (replaced the sender a couple of months ago, with no change in the gauge readings).
