This is SPUD. My partner bought and resto moded this pick-up for his lucky soon to be 16 son.

This thing was a very bad Carolina blue and stock head to toe.

If thats a 6.2 then why is it on half tons? Anyways thats a really clean looking truck.

Very nice, I would have loved to drive that when I was 16.

Maybe because it is a 1/2 ton....Also note the "10" on the side denoting 1/2 ton. Many of the 6.2Ls were in 1/2 tons, even the later model 6.5L was available in 1/2 ton trucks.

X2 I wouldve love to have had that over my first car. And I guess Iearned something today, did not know they put the diesels in half tons. Wish they had that option still today.

Nice truck especially for a 16 year old!

They also put the 6.2 and 6.5 in 1/2 ton Suburbans.

yep 1/2 ton. I've pestered him too put tons under it. It'll see more farm land and street than anything. He has found a Banks turbo system and is going to add it in the near future. The interior has been gone through with the addition of some aluminum trim and trays and newer seats from a ford (heh he). the miles on this one are fairly low.

he's darn level headed and likes to work hard and do chores and farm. I wish more his age and slightly older had his sense of do for yourself.
