NRA meeting in Charlotte, meet Matt Hughes also, I was dumbfounded when I seen him, and forgot to get a picture with him. Chuck Norris and Ted Nugent was there also.

I will say this, R. Lee is a good person to meet. I asked him why does the History channel always cancel all of his show, I am a huge fan of them. He said "They are a bunch of liberal pansies that run that place, and are afraid of guns"

Matt Hughes was a cool too, I didn't think he was as short as he was, I wouldn't fuck with him though.
 
Haha would have loved to have been there, can only imagine all the cool things he said.

Sounds like it was pretty cool even tho Glenn Beck replaced Hannity.
 
I would love to meet Gunny. I just want to hear him say, "Hell, I like you. Why don't you come over to my house and fawk my sister.":lol: Him, Chuck Norris and the Nuge all in the same place. That would be interesting.

yup, was there all day with HCORE4x4 and it was too much fun. Spoke with the Alexander Arms crew at length about the 6.5 Grendels that Aaron and I own, and they are pretty cool. the models were there in-force and were a nice addition!
did you notice the constant 'click, click, click' from all the racking and dry firing, that was just cool.

Yeah, I went to 90% of the the dealers. I had to drool all over the Trijicon stuff. Then I went to Larue Tactical and fingered the OBR. Picked up some Dillo Dust.

The Barrett set up was great. I thought it was a great show, lots of people to meet, and vendors were very happy to talk to you.

I meet Matt Hughes walk in a long the wall on the way over to the Trijicon set up. I seen him, I go, your Matt Hughes aren't you. Shook hands, but I forgot to take my pic with him.

He was on his way to the Bushmaster area.
 
did you notice that there were TONS of guns there not tethered to the display and were you there when the guys had to chase down some folks- WTF!!! we were joking about it after closing at the Taurus booth and they knew for sure that one pistol was taken, can you imagine how much stuff was taken? but nothing in there had firing pins, so I guess thats one way to find the sucker- when they order a pin
how many times did you turn around to see a firearm pointed at you? that took the better part of the day to get over. and the flashlights/laser pointers zooming around on the ceiling was classic.
man it was like disneyland!!
