If they are not playing their old stuff why bother going. They have sold out.
 
I was checking on ticket prices earlier and I hope they are above pre sale selling price.
Font Row King has floor seats for $255.00 a piece.

I hope that is not right because I will have to sell something if it is. We will find out for sure next week.

Also the last time I saw Metallica was in Charlotte. They started with older stuff and middle way they went into acoustic on stools. Then the end of the show was a mix.

I will never forget it, the first song that was played was Fuel and as soon as it started a bottle (plastic) came from the sky and hit my head so hard I had to have stitches. Anyway I had a shaved head back then 10 or more yrs ago now. I didnt get the stitches till next day though. Still have my permanent Metallica scar.
Those guys put on show. I hope they still will in October.

wow has it really been over 20 years since my first Metallica show? Man I must be old...saw them back on the Monsters of Rock tour in Washington DC, 1988, with Van Hagar, Dokken, and a couple other bands...
saw them a few times up through the Black Album tour in the early 90s. I used to have James Hetfield's sweatband from the Walnut Creek show around 1992 where I was on the second row...
probably won't make this tour, but I will go listen to Ride the Lightning!
