Anybody have the torque specs for the rear suspension on a 1973 MG Midget? I know it's a long shot, I thought someone might have a book lying around.

I need the specs on the u-bolts, spring eye bolts, and fixed spring hanger to body bolts.

I have a Haynes manual, but it only has specs for the front suspension.

If I have to I guess I can just use a bolt size/material chart torque...

I have a Motor repair manual. It oonly has torque spec for rear shocks (55-60 ft. lbs). It does have however a caution note " Do not tighten the spring "U" bolts fully untill the vehicle has been lowered to the ground and weight is applied to springs".

No book here, I let mine go with the Midget when I sold it. I would just go with the bolt size/material chart for the u-bolts (I would assume the material to be equivalent to maybe grade 5, definitely not any stronger than that), and the spring hanger bolts, but on the spring eye bolts, not sure if they should be torqued too tight as it may cause the hangers to bind on the spring eye.
