Here is the deal...

I'm currently running 33" BFG muds on my xj. I've got a line on a set of 35" claws with decent tread but want to hear from some guys that have ran them before and see what you think of them. They are the radial type.

Do they perform similarly to an X Terrain (which i've seen are not that great in slime and mud)? How about on rocks?
 
ive never ran a set but i really want to. ive heard mixed opinons but from what ive seen they do well. if you decide to not go with them PM b/c im looking for a set. thanks!
 
got a friend with a set of 38s on a z71, they suck in the mud, but are really good in the sand and on rocks.
 
I had a set in the 33" flavor on my TJ a few years ago. I thought they did pretty well on rocks and did great on trail type mud (not deep bogging stuff). They didn't have a lot of lateral grip on off camber situations and they wore like crap on the road. I'd give them a 6 out of 10 for a radial MT.
 
I'm not a mud bogger so the deep mud pit performance doesn't concern me. I also don't drive much at all on the road so that isn't a huge concern either.

I've made the swap to the 35" claws so we will see how they do on the trail.
