Got a friend who has a friend that is selling off her late husbands tools. Just trying to help him help her get the most money she can.

I've only got pictures to go by but she's got a Millermatic 210 and a Miller Synchrowave 180 SD. They look like they are in pretty clean shape.

Each machine has a large gas cylinder as well.

I agree with Mac. Don't separate the tanks. Value will be less in my opinion. Just becomes someone else's spare. Unless you find that one guy upgrading.

FWI for this wanting to buy either.

The two smaller connections being used on the 210 makes me believe it comes with an aluminum spool gun. Good unit and runs well on common breaker sized for household dryers..around 50 amps.

The syncrowave is a good unit. DC and AC with high freq. for aluminum. Air cooled torch. The unit will do well up to around 1/8 aluminum on short runs. 3/16 or larger and cast will work it hard. It is also power hungry. It pulls around 53-56 amps best I remember flat footed. IE a standard 220 volt dryer style plug and or a light power cable and plug supply will not work well.

Good machines.

Great info! Y'all are awesome. How much extra you think if it comes with the spool gun?

If it has the spool gun and dual tank carrier upgrade this was a 800 plus dollar upgrade. Sometimes cheaper commonly sold as a bonus or incentive. Sadly the market value doesn't change much. Most serious aluminum Mig has gone very speacialized and the equipment has improved tremendously. Its still a good light gauge short production unit. Remember this is a light industrial rated unit.

Ive got $800 cash for the TIG and bottle and I can get it tomorrow

I told her $1200 and I think that's where she's at right now. Already got the mig sold at that price. I stopped by to meet her today and get a better idea of what she's got. Both machines look like they've barely been used.

I'd damn near kill for a Millermatic 210 in that condition for $1200

Based on the condition it was in when I picked it up today I'll need you to kill at least two people in trade ;)

@jcramsey - a huge thanks to you for hauling it a bit closer to the right Carolina. And another huge thanks to you and your brother for loading it up in the trucklet for me. You should have seen the unloading. The neighbors weren't home so it was a cripple and 2 little kids guiding it down the ramps. It was almost ugly.
Hope you had a safe trip back home.

Glad y'all made it home and got it unloaded without any major issue. Apparently Im at least as strong as a cripple and two little girls because it was no easy task for me to roll it off the trailer myself. Was great to meet you and I know @ramjo enjoyed it too.
