I'm sure there is some reason for there being a minimum number of charactars in a search, but in some cases it makes it very difficult to find specific things. (I'd be curious to know what the rationale is also?).
For example, I'd like to search if anybody has 5.29 gears for sale, or 34" LTBs.
An ideal string would be "5.29", "34", or "LTB". But that's not > 4 charactars. "gears" is too genral, 4 million hits.
Is there a way to wildcard it to get around this? Adding "*" gets huundreds of unrelated posts...?

Server load.

Use google.

LTB site:nc4x4.com

etc.

Hm, interestin gworkaround.
Now for the magic question - is there some way to limit that Google search to a particular forum? E.g. "LTB" on all of NC4x4 will find 4 bazillion things.
I can't figure a way to narrow down a URL that includes all posts under one forum (or sub-forum)...

And:
- Limit it to a certain timeframe &
- Only return posters from SC &
- Limited to POS Toy owners &
- Maybe someone to click the mouse buttons for you?

Your pushin' it bro! :flipoff2:

Tried to fix it a bit... broke it instead.

Searching is disabled until further notice.

I miss the new posts button, too......waaa! waaa!

OK, I'm done....is it back yet?

LOL

I'll be patient.....how 'bout now?

D

Oh, so this whole deal of having no search function is all my fault?
Woops.
At least I know I've made an impact on the world.
