I am fairly confident I will be OK, but I just wanted to get some more opinions just in case. I can't find a replacement Trxus MT for my jeep, but I did find an SSR. The SSR and the other three Trxus MTs are 35x12.5 and all on the same kind of steel wheel.

My question is, the SSR is said to be 75 pounds and is 35.3 x 12.5; the Trxus are 66 pounds and are 34.9 x 13. So will the almost ten pound difference from one side to the other on the axle be harder on axle and transfer parts? I currently have the SSR on the front, any benefit to moving it to the back?

The heavier tire will be more stressful on the axle than the lighter one obviously, but the actual weight difference between the two should be negligible. The height difference although very slight, would lend me to want to put it on an axle that is open rather than locked, assuming you are locked rear and open front.

I am locked front and rear with aussies.

Don't do it. The difference in circumference between the two tires will cause the locker to want to constantly lock and unlock, which will wear it out quick. If you can't find one other tire that is the same circumference you'll need to replace both tires on that axle.

Well crap, any other opinions?

I had a flat tire one time in front on 38s and just the difference in air pressure broke pins in my aussie....I say DEF DONT DO IT!!!
