My MJ project I have been working on.. Just a little background on it. I got in it High School about 6 years ago for $100 and the first project I did was the motor needed a head gasket. Next I lifted it with a SOA rear and a Bastard pack and the front is 5.5†springs and spacers to match the rears 7.5†or so total. Cut the fenders beyond belief and now here is the latest……..
The first is of course the doors that i asked how to do and the fender flares from a donor TJ

OBA
I put in On-Board air and a tank

Ran the lines under the truck and im fastening them to the frame

Homemade tank mounted in bed

I also put quick connects on the bed rails

Here is the hinge pins i made up on the fly

And heres my latch until i get a good design thought up and no it want be driven like this

PAINT
It was not looking so swell and there were a lot of small rust spots so i decided to brake out the sander and the rattle cans and got to it. After 3 hours of prep and 45min of painting it turned out like this.......

Thiers a couple of bad spots but it looks a lot better than it did since it was 3 different shades of primer grey and the original paint. Now i just got to touch up the spots that need it. Then i can finish the interior.

NEXT I DONE SOME DECALS
Spence from www.jeepsticker.com Hooked me up with some custom decals and they are great they worked out very well and Spence has out done himself. They are exact to what I want and fit just like the Photoshop above someone done when I first talked about the letter. Here are the pics. What do you think of her.

THE BUMPER FOR NOW
I used 3/16 steel channel that was 5x2 and cut slits in it to bend the ends back to meet the contour of the body. Then I made some mounts the are temporary till I get back home to finish it the way I want this summer. The reason I went ahead and put it on is cause I destroyed my stock one awhile back on a trip through the woods and I was warned earlier this week not to be back on the road until I had a bumper. OK OK heres the pics:::::

Here is what I plan on cutting and the blue is a possible Hitch/frame crossmember/steering box brace Idea I have. :nuts:

the USA decals look a little out-of-place...but the rest seem to fit great...

what are you doing to the interior?

I like it too, good homebrew build. You should talk with awspence on here....he's building the same thing currently.

Answers:
No its not a diesel but I like the sticker maybe some day it will have a cummins 4blt in it but not until its trail only.

I am in the process of finding a donor to change my enterior to grey instead of blue. All the plastic may just get painted with vinyl paint to satify me for now. Also I am going BACK to bench seats.

Thanks for the props I am leaving the country for a few months but when I return I am doing a motor swap, 4.88s, D44 rear, long arms, exo cage, rear flares, and any thing else that might pop up.

i think you missed my point. gasoline can be fuel too, not only diesel. or so says almost every vehicle i've owned that says "unleaded fuel only", etc.

Now where is this trail exactly. I only know of Tellico and Gulches and BTW I am in SC now in th AF at Shaw AFB But i am originally from Brevard and prob know where you are talking about I just want to be sure.
