Mnt city trip march 5th anyone?

The "Boyz in da Woodz" group out of Caldwell Co. are having a trip to Mnt. City to wheel next Sat. on the 5th. Should all be at the parking lot around 9-9:30. Have around 8-10 trucks going for sure but feel free to meet us in the parking lot and join our convoy! Our group is a mix breed of everything from mild to wild so feel free to tag along as we mostly trail ride and try a few hard things but stronly beleive in no man left behind motto. Hope to see you there!!:driver:
 
I am thrashing the ECORS racer together this weekend. If its done, I may hit up Mt. City that day to prerun a little bit before the race. I just want to tool around for a while and make sure everything is tight and avoid breaking, so i will just stick to the easy stuff.

We are going to meet at Bojangles on 321 in Lenoir at 7:00am. Thats about 10 minutes north of Granite on the way up the mountain. We will be eating breakfast there and heading out about 7:30-7:45am. If you are towing the parking lot is small and we will be parking across the street at a fish camp reastraunt called "the Mayflower". If your not towing you can just meet us at bojangles. Hope to see some of you guys there.
 
Love that place up there! My tow rig is down though so I won't be seeing it for awhile.
 
I am in unless the creek rises.I'll be leaving the Goldsboro area sometime friday morning for a slow cruise up and crashing at the new rest stop on 421 at Wilkesboro.When I get to M.C., I'll be parked in the parking lot at Food Lion looking down at the road.I'll go in with the crowd.Look for a beige colored Ford crew cab work truck pulling a stocker Willys on a home built trailer.
 
tow rig has 200,000 miles and is only a 351w coupled to a worn out/over worked 5speed and truck allready weighs in at 7,000 plus pounds.It's 267 miles one way and gas is 3.30 a gallon as I type this.Life is too short to rush all the time.I drive my DDs as I do my trail rig.You leave when you leave,I'll leave when I do.I'll be there when you get there.
 
Sounds good to me Jimmy! ill be looking for you in the parking lot of Food lion. We usually stop at the last gas station on 421 before you turn right to head to Callenetee to top off with gas. Ill be in a white Denali pulling a black ext. cab yota. Will be several other trucks with my group drive and pulling rigs as well. If you see us just come on over and fall in with us. Looking forward to meeting you partner!
 
I might be in....I need to redo my upper rear shock mounts but don't know if I will have time this week
 
I'm hoping to make it. Weather will be a factor though, since I have no doors/top/windshield and I've got exposed electronics, for now at least. Looking forward to getting back up there AND looking forward to seeing the maiden voyage of the Lake View Acres ToyCrawler. :driver:

sounds good Greg! hope you can make it for the voyage because its going to be great and i think your Jeep will fit in great with some of my group with full bodied full sizes with ton axles!! lol
 
Im right there with Jimmy! Only thing ive got left to do is finish this forever long week and load up Friday after work. got all the finishing details finished on the yota this weekend and fluids topped off, and went back over all the bolts again for good measure!
 
I've never been to MC... I'm gonna try to mount the tsl's I just regrooved on my H1s this week so I can come try them out sat. As long as I can get them all to hold air I'll be at the Bojangles in Lenior at 7am. Driving a silver 2nd gen dodge with a white yj on the trailer. thanks for the invite, brian.
 
I might be up in nc this weekend and would like to join you guys up there
if I come up I'll be at the parking lot by 8-9 I'll be in a blue yj
 
looks like rain up there saturday...we still on? Post up!Not wanting to drive a 500 mile trip and have the park to myself.
 
oh yeah well be there rain or shine!! Looks like it going to be scaterred showers in the afternoon according to weather channel but we will be there for sure!
 
I might be in,but will have my son with so dont really plan on doing anything crazy :wheel:if not in lenoir or at park 9 then iam not coming....
 
Load it up Chris lets go!! Were mostly planing on trail riding early and then playing later so it will be fun. Im loded up and ready to rock!
