Hello from Moab! First off, it is beautiful here, the scenery is some of the best I have ever seen. Today, my dad and I went out in a Farabee's Jeep: 2004 TJ 4.0L 2" lift 33x12x.50x15 AT's up front MT's in the rear and an auto tranny. Today was more of a scenic trip, we both wanted to just take in the land and get settled in. We are playing golf tomorrow and then Saturday, are going out and gettin the same jeep, but locked f/r and MT's all around. Hopefully we can get to some more difficult trails. Anyone have any suggestions as to what trails to try? Not looking for anything they would be doing during the Jeep Safari, but something deffinatly challenging. Anyways, can't figure out how to put the pictures on here but you can check them out on my webshots sit at.... http://community.webshots.com/user/redncranger

i hate you cole...
i wanna be out there so bad, it sucks. but i hung out with your girlfriend last night, so its straight. get more pics of the mog and that awsome TJ flex

Moab Rim is easy and close to town. South on Main to the light at McDonald's, make a right, stay left at the fork, it'll be on your left after the road turns to run along the river.

Cliffhanger/Amasa Back is a mile or two further down on the right side. I heard that one got graded over the winter so they could get some equipment back there.... it should be a quick trip if that's the case.

So your saying that you would rather hang out with MY girlfriend, than be wheeling in Moab??? I didn't think so :flipoff2: Metty I'm thinkin that next summer we need to drive out here sometime.

Thanks for the trail suggestions. I'll let you guys know how the wheelin goes and I'll take more pics too.

Oh and we did the Moab rim yesterda, that was the trail that we started on.

And metty, we aren't allowed to disconnect the sway bars so thats about all the flex I'm gonna get outta that thing. It almost flipped there!

slick rock and porcupine rim

When in Moab for the first time you have to do slick rock just so you can say you did.

Porcupine rim has some awesome scenery, would be worth the drive out also.

It's cool that you got a dad that is willing to do that stuff with you. Kind of reminds me of someone I know.

Yeah we just did the Fins n' Things trail today and we plan on doing the hells revenge later in the day, maybe when it cools down alittle. But yeah I am lucky to have such a cool dad.

Also today we saw one of the new Dodge Power Wagons on the trail today. A red one it was pretty cool, he asked us about the trail and then we were off.

cliffhanger is pretty easy now that they paved the only hard part that was on the trail. hell's revenge is also fun to get used to the terrain. if you're feeling a little brave Rusty Nail is a fun one to run but might require a little more than 33's. Good luck and have fun. :driver:

Yeah we just finished hells revenge and it wasn't too bad. Didn't have too many problems with anything accept at the Turn Over Challange on Hells revenge i believe it was. Other than that it was a good trip.
