ok folks, Im removing any doubt that I am truly a redneck.

4'x6' footprint inside, fully pressure treated with a shingled roof welded to a 5x8 utility trailer. quite stable at 0.05mph and flat ground. :huggy: will eventually have jackscrews at each corner and will see duty in the deepest of woods come early november.

real tough to bow hunt out of that. Them look like gun ports to me. Nice work!
. Specifically measured for my bow pull, and typical range. But its suited to doubles predator calling and overnight campouts in the deer thickets. Cant wait!

Nice, that's redneck fabrication at it's finest. I may need to build a few of these for the farm, tipping a tower of that size onto a trailer after hunting season and putting it back out after the fields are cut is getting old.

Nice. What call/electronics do you use for predator hunting. My rabbit squel works once maybe twice then they get smart.

My dad built him one to go in the bed of his s10. Its not huge, but it gets him off the ground and since he cant walk well anymore it really helps that he only has to climb in the bed of the truck and up the ladder. At the platform, its probably 6' to the bottom in the bed, then theres a swivel seat and a military fiberglass pole setup for a rest all the way around. Its probably only 3'x4' but it works really well, especially when we pull the green military retired parachute up around it. I've killed quite a few deer out of it.

homemade deal with an ipod and an old battery powered computer speaker. uses a camcorder remote mic/ receiver so that I can set it out in the field. got all the info off da'net. predator masters forum I think. got tons of foxes to come to it and believe it or not the crows LOVE it when the 'rabbits' get to squawkin. no yotes yet, but with all the foxes, maybe they arent so plentiful yet, I know- yet... I mean youve got to step over foxes going to the little house.

is the mobile deer stand the jeep? or the thing on the trailer? LOL

if you think thats a tight spot to shoot a bow, you should have seen me shoot squirrels out of my bathroom window at school last year. if they were off to the side a little, you'd have to stand halfway in the shower to get a shot off.

we shoot groundhogs out of the kitchen window with a .22 that I bought my Mom specifically for the purpose. nothing like having your morning coffee with a little rimfire brass in it that you didnt find until too late. dont be hatin on the stand, it fit a purpose... haha

i hear ya on that one. my most productive deerstand to date has been one of the windows in our living room. nothing like a .30-06 going off in the house to scare the living :poop: out of the rents first thing in the morning haha
