Motor was replaced and is still under warranty BKQ motors.

The new motor blew. Warranty runs out Feb. 25th. The shop that put that motor in will not work on it because the company that the motor is under warranty with will only pay 55hr.

From 2 different opinions of shops they say the motor is toast.

So my question is. Is there any shops interested in working on this truck around that rate?

If interested and would like more details please email me at kcoakley@ncsu.edu

... the truck is in Willow Springs, NC and I am willing to tow it.

Thanks!

would you not be better off paying the labor difference and just have the shop that installed it do it again. your not going to find a shop that does quality work for $55 an hour.

kinda figured it would that was the case. Sucks the warranty company is a bunch of asshats

What is the allowable Hourly time (ie 10 hours for a long block @ $55 and hour or book time @ 55), what did you buy long block. Will they pay oil, coolant, shop supplies. send me the details and we may do it if they will pay actual book time @55 and pay for the other stuff.

Hey chase thanks for the interst. Looks like a shop in Angier is going to take a crack at it. If this doesn't work I will be in contact with you. Thanks again
