I find it a bit ironic that the "biker" was on the dealing end of the death... IOW, all the hardcore bikers I've met talk about the dangers of cars/trucks and the evils of the "cage" drivers...
I understand what the the article points out about waiting to file charges, however what keeps them from charging him with all the petty stuff (crossing double yellow) NOW... and nailing his arse for vehicular manslaughter/homocide later?
Coupled with a possible conviction in NC (IIRC, refusing to blow in NC is an automatic license forfeiture, but not necessarily an auto DUI? Which should show on his license?), he'd better hope the blood tests show nothing stronger than caffeine!
