Mountain City/ Callalantee help quick!

I am in boone for the weekend and we want to ride out there today. i found directions to the trail head but i'm not sure where to go when we get there. I mainly just want to check the place out today and see what its like, maybe find some moderate trail w/ a good place to play around for a bit. I will have my girl w/ me and taco on 33's so i want her and the taco guys to feel pretty comfortable. this will be my girls first ride offroad so i dont want to scare the shit out of her on the first go round. any help would be great thanks -j

Gives you all kinds of good information on Callalante including this map that Alan Abbot and I put together. It's gotten a little out of date...but will still get you around.

thanks man we already went, but that map is way better than the ones they have at the camp ground! we road a little trail they called Welder, it was pretty fun. I will know more next time and def. print that map off. it would have been better to be w/ someone that knew the trails but we had fun. -j
