Mounting coilovers??

Working on the rear of my YJ. I have seen coilovers mounted tilted toward the rear, straight up and down and tilted towards the front. I am going notch my frame so I can lean them inward some, but is there any advantage/disadvantage on the forward, straight, back position? Thanks

Mostly angled for packaging, or because it looks cool. Your spring rates will be more accurate if they are not tilted.
