There's a new Mexican joint behind the Hardee's rest. I have never been there, but I am sure that it's good as it is owned by a local chain where I live and near where I work. I imagine that they sell beer there. I'd be all for riding up there with you guys, but after my last trip there (two or three weeks ago) my rear shaft is dead and I don't have the funds to replace it right now.

There are two places in Mtn City and one is a jacked up 'neck-mexican bar that is usually out of beer and the other is waaaay over priced.

Bring it in I say.
I can't remember but I think one of us paid over ten for 6 newcastle. Even the busch is expensive. You can't buy beer in mtn city.

and wish I were going. But I'm heading to the junkyard to get some parts and still need to get some bars under my truck before I head out again.

Its about 30 minutes west of boone on 421.

I know I bought beer at that little store by the golf course and I dont remember it being too over priced, less than 15 bucks for an 18 of coors.

Looks like we have a fairly large group coming up. 8 rigs total. Should be alotta fun. Stayin at the mtn empire motel friday nite, hitting the trails at 730 to 8 in the morning.

Def a poser pic. I just wanted to get up there to take some pics of the mtns.

It was a good day, a lil bit chilly but we still had fun. Ran welder, easyout, armourall, then to tow, and the tower.
