Well I put about 3 gallons of gas in it and primed the carb it fired right up .
So now I am starting with a spring over .Them I am going to fix the floors and put 2x4 square tube for the rockers . I also pant to do a disc brake conversions and add power steering . This will be a vintage build .I am leaving the V6 and dana 20 t-case

I've got a few parts if you need some. Not too far from you, would like to come check out your project. Was just out on some trails in garner this weekend.
I'm wheelin a 71 Jeepster.
Thats cool I deff could use some parts . PM me you number.

WOW!

Sweet! In the same category... here's a 1970 Commando I bought from 89wrangler, then resold about 6 months later... the new owner has definitely performed some magic! :)

Looks like a great project. I REALLY wish I did not sell mine :rolleyes:Thanks Don for rubbing it in

Yer welcome Steve... I knew you needed to be reminded.

Really though, I posted the pictures to show what a difference can be made in such a short time. I still hope to see it when its completely finished.

This has been a very slow project for me . So here are some updates .Cut off the old rusty rockers picked up a wilwood clutch master and slave. I also ordered the clutch hose .
I still need to get braided brake hoses for the front . and metal to repair the rust

You need me to come over and spraypaint that thing? It needs a lift too and some sheet metal trimming.

damn that brings back memories,i was riding in the back of my dads when we hit an icy patch and his snap on tool box crushed me lol.

they definately look awesome built up
