Hi everybody, I’m from Romania and I’ve made a few adjustments on my Cherokee witch I’ll be glad to share with you.

All this transformation started in November 2006 when I bought this car. The first modification was front bulbar with a warn xp 9000 on it, a lock right locker on the front axle, replace front brakes and axle shafts (the longer shaft was made from 2 pieces and I had that vacuum disconnect thing on the front axle), I also lift the car a little with 2”.

After one year of braking things and put dents on the car I’ve decided to build it a little higher and I put a 6.5” suspension on the front and a custom made 6.5” on back(I’ve used springs from a dodge ram 150, 2” shackle and a few spacers between springs and axle). The back suspension it’s harder but I didn’t brake the springs yet and I don’t think I will very soon. The dana 30 with vacuum disconnect was replaced by a reinforced dana 30 without vacuum disconnect and the dana 35 from the back was replaced by a Chrysler 8.25 with a lock right locker in it. Also I put 4.56 gears in axles.

The tires are 33 TSL Super Swamper on Beadlocks with 2” backspace.

Welcome to the board!

That's pretty damn cool. Welcome to the forum!

pretty cool all the guy from around the world joining nc4x4. Nice cherokee.

i like seeing the trends from other countries.

i think so far we have Romania, Greece and Japan on here.

That is completely awesome.

What do you think of the 4.56s w/33s? I was thinking of going 4.56 or 4.88 w/35s on mine but I currently have 33s and am weighing my options.

2nd pic kicks ass, lots of space beneath the tires.

Good work getting rid of the disconnect front axle and upgrading to the 8.25, that's a stout rear axle. Welcome to the board

Thanks.
4.56 with 33s are like the standard gears with the standard tire size. On board it shows the real speed that you have. I wanted 4.88 but for the Chrysler 8.25 I didn’t found 4.88 so I was forced to buy 4.56. 4.88 on 35s will fit just fine and I think you will have a little more torque compared with me.

those are some sick angles you are driving on man! i wish we had snow like that in NC!

^yea i know! wish we had places like that here!!
