I wanted to apologize for a thread I started about a week ago in which there was a link that opened up an annoying 90’s pop song in a window that would not close. Contrary to what some assumed, it did not contain malware or spyware, my software at home and at work confirmed that. I had this prank pulled on me on another 4x4 forum I frequent and I was laughing out loud as I was trying to close the window. The responses to the joke from members on the other forum were positive as well. I figured some people here might get a laugh out of it, too. Obviously, I was wrong, and for that, I apologize. It was just a joke and not intended to be malicious. I’ve been around here for 2 years and if I thought people would get as fired up about it as they did, I never would have started the thread.

You may accept my apology or not. I won’t lose sleep over it. But, I figured I should man-up and make a public apology. I'll go tip-toe back under my rock now, until I return to start a thread asking where good trails are so I can drink and wheel. That should put me back in the good graces of the powers that be. :D

I also appreciate when people say the phrase of "I couldN'T care less' correctly. If you could care less, then what's the point of saying it??
 
Cool deal, no harm no foul. At first, I thought it WAS funny as hell. I was lol when i couldnt close it too . Then someone said"malware" and i got worried. Apology accepted!

I laughed, I did.
I got no bad stuff on my pc either, and managed to close the window with a nice C-A-D and task manager...

So its all good.
 
Same here, no malware. I've been on the 'net since it was nothing but text email and newsgroups (and had to pay LD charges out of state to do it!), and stuff like that might have been funny 10 years ago, but now it is really old and annoying.
